SOUTH BEND, Ind. --- There were plenty of shades of green Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium. It was part of Head Coach Brian Kelly's Green Out.
The fans definitely delivered for Kelly. Some Irish fans visited from Knoxville, Tennessee pointing out the stadium had a holiday feel to it.
"Green is not even one of my favorite colors but all I had to hear is that the coaches wanted us to wear green. It's pretty impressive almost a little Christmasy too with the Oklahoma red," said Irish fan Daryl Lauderdale.
The Leprechaun Legion and the Kelly Cares Foundation gave out 40,000 Pom-Poms at Saturday's game.
All to help coat the stadium green.
