ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Thursday, November 28, 2024
Lake effect snow will begin tonight, mainly after 9 PM across southwest Michigan. This will not be a major snow for any spot across Michiana, but snow will stick to roads and could make for tough travel early Black Friday morning. Snow showers should wrap up by lunchtime Friday. Most of the area will see an inch or two of accumulation, with Cass County Michigan the most likely location to see three or more inches of snow. The rest of the holiday weekend looks cold and quiet, although a few flurries or snow showers could be around at times on Sunday. Temperatures will stay below freezing until Wednesday, when some rain and snow showers could move through Michiana.
Tonight: Snow showers and breezy. Low 25.
Tomorrow (Black Friday): Snow showers in the morning, then cloudy and cold. High 29.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy and cold. High 28.
Sunday: Overcast with a few snow showers possible. High 28.
