Suspect in SWAT incident in critical condition from police gunfire
PORTER COUNTY, Ind. -- Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a double drowning in Lake Michigan that occurred July 5.
Officers responded to the incident at approximately 4:20 p.m. yesterday, near the town of Dune Acres in Porter County, finding a father and son had been removed from the water by a Good Samaritan then given aid by Park Rangers.
65-year-old David Meneou and 20-year-old Jameson Meneou were both pronounced dead at the hospital shortly afterwards.
The preliminary investigation shows both men went into deep water and were not able to get out.
This incident remains under investigation.
