There's little to no change in the forecast compared to the past couple of days. Highs will still be in the low 90s today with heat index values likely in the triple digits again. Pop-up showers and storms, some of which could be severe, are expected beginning around 1-2 PM EDT, lasting through most of the second half of today. A heat advisory goes into effect later this morning due to the heat and humidity and expires tonight. Friday's temperatures are slightly cooler overall than today, but values will still be well above normal. More sporadic rainfall will take place tomorrow afternoon and evening before a temporary lull takes over on Saturday. The 90s continue for Michiana on Sunday and possibly Monday of next week before a cooldown is expected.
