South Bend McDonald's employee punched in drive-thru

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend police responded to a report of a physical altercation between a customer and an employee of the Mcdonalds located at 2001 S. Michigan St. in South Bend.

The report states that on Feb. 2, a white Volkswagen SUV was in the drive-thru with Alexander Przybyslawski in the back seat.

The victim stated they reached out of the drive-thru window to hand the driver their food and was then punched in the face by Alexander who had gotten out of the vehicle and was reportedly angry about an employee's refusal to correct a past wrong order without a receipt.

The employee was then pulled out of the window by Przbyslawski and the two proceeded to fight in the parking lot until it was broken up and police were called. 

Przbyslawski was placed under arrest and taken to St Joseph County Jail.

The arresting officer noted that he had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath.

Przbyslawski faces two charges of Battery and Disorderly Conduct.

In unrelated incidents, on Nov. 1, 2024, Przbyslawski was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person, Operating a Vehicle w/ Alcohol Concentration Equivalent to at Least .08 but less than .15, and Minor Consuming Alcohol-at least 18 and Operating a Vehicle.

On Nov. 20, he was charged with Criminal Trespass Def., not having contractual interest in property, knowingly, and Minor in Possession of Alcohol.
