PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- Notre Dame’s defense is turning into one of the most reliable parts of the team this year. They’re holding opponents to about 335 yards per game, making it very difficult for anyone to move the ball. This group plays with energy, confidence, and a mindset of shutting teams down when it matters most.

Leading the way is linebacker Drayk Bowen, who already has 25 solo tackles and 2 sacks. He says the goal every week is simple: keep getting better and show up ready to perform on game day.

On the other side is Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa, who has become a major playmaker himself. He has 22 solo tackles, 3 sacks, and an interception this season. He plays all over the field — stopping the run, fighting through blocks, and dropping into coverage. You also can’t forget Jaiden Ausberry, who has been one of Notre Dame’s most active defenders. He’s already made 41 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks. His speed and timing behind the line of scrimmage help lift the entire defense.

Together, this Irish linebacking group brings energy, toughness, and leadership to every game. And with the way they fly around the field, they’ll play a huge role in how Notre Dame handles the battles still ahead.
