SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- ABC57 Kickoff spoke with Notre Dame freshman Jerry Barca and Notre Dame Linebacker and Captain Jack Kiser about the Fighting Irish's participation in "Cleats for a Cause" at the game against Miami Ohio.
Th Irish will be wearing special shoes, painted by Barca, for both the game and the walk to Notre Dame Stadium.
The shoes will then be auctioned off with proceeds going to support local charities, including the Logan Center, Casie Center, Boys & Girls Club, Cultivate, and Center for the Homeless.
