70-year-old man sent to hospital after crashing into utility pole

ABC 57 CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on Daily Road, just south of Beeson Street around 12:41 p.m., Monday.
Authorities say the investigation determined a vehicle, driven by a 70-year-old Benton Harbor man, was traveling north on Daily Road when he lost control of the vehicle ad struck a power pole.
The report states the road was icy at the time.
The driver was then taken to Dowagiac Beacon Hospital for injuries sustained.
