44-year-old man arrested for felony theft, suspected meth found in home

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Office reports officers with the Marshall County Drug Task Force coordinated an operation with assistance from the La Porte City Police Department, Marshall County Police Department, and Argos Police Department at a residence in the 200 block of S. Michigan Street in Argos on Tuesday.

The report states a search warrant was executed, and dozens of stolen items taken from La Porte County were recovered.

Officers say they also located suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia in the home.

The suspect, 44-year-old Charles Gross of Argos, was arrested and taken to the La Porte County Jail for Theft as a Level 5 Felony.

MCDTF will submit a report to the Marshall County Prosecutor's Office for further charges.
