ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Prosecutor's Office has charged a suspect in connection with several storage unit burglaries.

The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Sean T. Sparks, was charged following his arrest by the Elkhart Police Department on Jan. 21.

The report states that through an investigation by an EPD detective, Sparks was connected to the burglaries of storage units at Storage Rentals of America, which resulted in the theft of thousands of dollars’ worth of items.

Officers say they were able to recover some of the stolen property during the investigation.

Sparks is charged with three counts of Burglary, each a Level 5 Felony.

His bond has been set at $100,000, and he remains in custody at the Elkhart County Jail.
