Registration now open for 50-mile 2024 Niles Burn Run Weekend

NILES, Mich. -- Registration is currently still open for the Niles Burn Run Weekend, which kicks off Friday, at 7 p.m. with a concert at Riverfront Park.

You can register for the run, here, which will be held on Sunday. Registration at the event will be open from 8 to 11 a.m., and organizers say kickstands go up at noon.

The 50-mile ride will cover Berrien and Cass Counties while being escorted by area law enforcement motorcade officers, local fire, and EMTs.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Great Lakes Burn Camp for Kids, a camp for children injured by fire.

Local jam-band and Grateful Dead cover band, The Happy Campers, will play Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.

On Saturday, the Niles Burn Run Car Show will go from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with registration open from 8 to 11 a.m., and awards given out at 12:30 p.m.

Vendors will also be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday.

Indianapolis band, The Warrior Kings, will play from 2 to 4 p.m.

From 7 to 9 p.m., Kat Mandu, a Bob Seger cover band, will perform.

In 2023, organizers say they raised $38,000 for the Great lakes Burn Camp.
