Woman shot in area of Carroll and Fox in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police are investigating a shooting that happened in the area of Carroll and E. Fox streets Thursday afternoon.
St. Joseph County dispatch received a call about the shooting at 3:24 p.m.
Police said there is a 24-year-old female victim at the hospital with non-life threatening lower body injuries.
This was the second shooting Thursday afternoon. The first happened at 1:35 p.m. near Humboldt and Elmer.
