MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka Police Department reports a vehicle crashed into a gas pump at the BP gas station at 3505 Bremen Hwy around 10:23 a.m., Monday.
Police say the woman driving the vehicle slid when she hit a patch of ice, and instead of crashing into traffic, she turned, striking one of the pumps.
Authorities described the pump as being destroyed by the collision.
Police say there were no gas leaks, and it was deemed safe by the fire department.
No injuries were reported.
