SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- As the snow keeps piling up, so do the orders for delivery drivers.
Drivers dashing through the snow as the demand for grocery and food delivery across the region is climbing.
Adam Andrews, who drives for the Michiana- based DineIn Delivery, has braved the conditions, as more people have chosen to stay off the roads.
The service helps both customers and local restaurants, including Tossed to Go in South Bend.
"It's a good feeling especially when we get to the doors and the people are just so appreciative that we give them their food or their groceries when otherwise they wouldn't be able to get it.” stated DineIn delivery driver Adam Andrews.
Even though some drivers haven even gotten stuck in unplowed neighborhoods, Andrews states he has been lucky so far and is taking it slow to keep deliveries moving.
DineIn is reminding its customers to be patient due to wait times being longer than usual.
