For most, the snow is done falling, or little additional snowfall is expected tonight. Blowing and drifting snow will continue to be an issue through Tuesday morning, continuing to make for slick, snow-covered roads. The bitter cold continues; temperatures this week range from the mid-20s to the mid-teens. The next round of snow comes Wednesday, with an additional two to three inches in the snow belt, with lesser amounts of lake effect snow for more southern counties. Do plan for fresh snow and bitter cold for New Year's Eve.
The weather is quiet to start the New Year, with a warm-up above freezing by the end of next weekend.
Tonight: Snow showers ending. Low 17.
