SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Wild Ones sale focused on promoting native plants and their importance to local ecosystems. The sale also emphasized the significance of planting native flowers,shrubs and trees to support butterflies,bees and birds.
The event aimed to educate the community about the beauty and ecological value of native plants, the impact of climate change and human encroachment on native species as well as the importance of supporting local ecosystems through thoughtful plant selection.
The sale featured multiple vendors and community partners working on conservation issues.
