Comfortable weather lasts through Saturday
Pack your rainboots and umbrella today - we have a wet Thursday ahead. The rain has already started this morning with the heaviest rain coming during the morning commute, around the 4-9AM timeframe moving generally north to south. Showers will continue throughout the day, heavier rain looks to pick up once again around the evening commute / dinner time. Temperatures will fall from the mid 40's this afternoon to the mid 30's overnight; rain starts to taper off heading into tonight, although a few scattered showers are still likely. Tomorrow starts mainly cloudy and dry, but by the afternoon we should see a few more light showers with highs near 40. Rain wraps up before the weekend with sunshine returning Saturday, but snow showers return Sunday to end 2023 with flurries wrapping up overnight. The new year starts cooler with highs back in the 30's and dry skies.
Today: Rain showers. High 44.
Tonight: Showers. Low 35.
Friday: Cloudy, PM showers. High 40.
Saturday: Mostly sunny. High 41.
