Wells Fargo stage coach stops in South Bend to celebrate grand opening

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Friday was a big day for a local bank branch.

The Wells Fargo in downtown South Bend moved just one block away to Wayne Street.

Friday was it's grand opening.

Customers were greeted by Jack the Dog, the bank's mascot.

But that's not all; many people were surprised to see a stage coach from the 1800s out front.

"The stage coach is a legendary stage coach. It's a replica of one of the stage coaches that used to go across the country," said Store Branch Manager Jennifer Stone. "We were lucky to have it here today, and have the photo opportunity for people to jump in and get their picture taken too."

Bank employees also encouraged patrons to spin a prize wheel for a chance to win flashlights, pens, and other freebies.
