WATCH: Good Samaritan shoots attempted robber at Cassopolis gas station

CASSOPOLIS, Mich. - Surveillance video from a Cassopolis gas station shows the moment a Good Samaritan shoots a person trying to rob the clerk on duty. 

The video, taken on July 27 at the Stone Lake Marathon gas station on South Broadway Street, shows a man in dark clothing walk into the gas station and behind the cash register, where he attempts to rob the employee. 

You then see the Good Samaritan pull out a gun and fire it several times in the direction of the register. 

The suspect, 35-year-old Cordeleus Martin, was seriously injured in the incident.
