WARSAW, Ind. -- Warsaw Community High School announced Wednesday that Ted Huber, the former Warsaw Tigers football coach and Indiana Football Hall of Famer, passed away Tuesday at the age of 83.
As a player for the Bremen Lions, Huber was a co-captain, team MVP, All-Northern Lakes Conference selection, and three-year letter winner. In 1997, he was inducted into the Indiana Football Hall of Fame for his time as a player.
Huber served as head coach for Hamilton Heights, Norwell, Bloomington South, and Warsaw Community High School, where the Warsaw Tigers won 31 games from 1988 through 1994.
