Tonight should be partly to mostly cloudy with temperatures falling through the 60s. Most spots should stay dry, but a few light sprinkles or showers are possible. Lows will drop into the middle 50s by Saturday morning.
Most of Saturday should be dry, as temperatures reach the lower 80s for the first time in 2020 in South Bend. Showers and thunderstorms will move in from the west during the late evening and overnight hours. These storms could be loud and a bit strong, and an isolated severe storm is possible. Storms will wrap up Sunday morning before another round of scattered storms is possible Sunday evening. Highs should make it into the middle 80s.
Thunderstorm chances stay elevated for Memorial Day, Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will remain in the middle 80s. Temperatures look cooler for the second half of next week, with more scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. The pattern finally looks drier by next weekend.
