A First Weather Watch has been posted for part of the area, Tuesday.
Warm, breezy weather midweek, record highs are possible Tuesday and Wednesday as temperatures make a run into the 80s. These would be some of the latest 80-degree-days in South Bend history. Wind gusts could gust as high as 40 mph, there is an elevated fire risk through Wednesday. A cold front will bring rain to start Halloween, but there is still good optimism the rain will clear before trick-or-treating in the evening. Temperatures cool into the weekend but remain seasonably mild. There is rain forecast for Election Day, next week.
Tonight: Mild, partly cloudy. Low 57.
Tuesday: Warm and breezy, partly cloudy. High 81.
