NOW: Victor Santos sentenced to 20 years for hitting bus full of hockey players

WARSAW, Ind. -- 61-year-old Victor Santos was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the 2022 crash in Warsaw when his semi hit slammed into a bus carrying a group of hockey players from Chicago injuring 20 of those players.

At the time of the crash his blood alcohol level was .13 percent almost twice the legal limit in Indiana. 

18 of those injured players, their parents and two coaches have also filed a 98-count civil lawsuit against Santos, the trucking and busing companies involved and even the bus driver.
