Victim identified in fatal crash at S.R. 2, Quince Road

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The victim of a fatal crash at S.R. 2 and Quince Road on Thursday has been identified, the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office announced.

Judith Ann Richmond, 80, of Rolling Prairie was killed in the crash.

At 6 p.m., police were called to the area for the two-vehicle crash.

According to the investigation, Richmond was driving west on S.R. 2 and stopped at the intersection with Quince Road when her vehicle was struck from behind by a dump truck.

The driver of the dump truck was not injured and was cooperative.

Impairment does not appear to be a factor, according to the Prosecutor’s Office.

The St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team is still investigation the incident.
