SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned in Milwaukee earlier today, July 23, announcing that she now has enough delegates to secure her spot as the Democratic Nominee.
That's why all eyes are turning to Indiana, as Harris will be in Indianapolis for a previously booked speaking engagement for the Zeta Phi Beta 2024 Grand Boule.
Zeta Phi Beta is one of the 'Divine Nine' historically black sororities in the National Panhellenic Council, with Harris being a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, also in the Divine Nine.
"We are excited to welcome Vice President Kamala Harris to our 2024 Grand Boule to discuss what this administration has done to improve the lives of all Americans as well as the investments being made in the historically underserved communities our members serve," states Zeta Phi Beta Sorority President Dr. Stacie N-C Grant.
It won't be until the Democratic National Convention next month that the party will select its nominee to replace President Joe Biden in the race, but endorsements for Harris have been flooding in following the announcement of Biden dropping out of the race.
Harris will be the special guest at the Boule Social Justice Town Hall and Lucheon tomorrow.
We will have ABC57's Annie Kate there to cover the event.
