Van Buren County police boosting patrol to crack down on drunk driving

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- Drive sober or get pulled over.

That's the message Michigan law enforcement wants to get out there. Extra officers will patrol for drunk drivers.

Starting Thursday, the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office is stepping up enforcement. They'll be on the lookout for impaired drivers during a end of the summer drunk driving crackdown.

The extra patrols will continue through September 3.
