Goshen mom sentenced in daughter's death

GOSHEN, Ind. -- Thursday, Mande Turner-Berger  faced a judge for sentencing, and a judge sentenced her to 20 years with 15 years suspended.

Turner-Berger and her boyfriend, Daniel Pennington originally told police 18-month-old Mariah Gibson died in a hit and run accident.

It happened back in May, but it was later discovered Mariah fell out of Pennington's truck and he accidentally ran her over.

Both are charged with neglect and obstruction of justice.

Turner-Berger has accepted a plea deal.

Pennington is set to go to trial November 7.
