Unidentified human remains found in Kosciusko County

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. - The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office 9-1-1 Communications Center received a call regarding potential human remains located on a property west of State Road 13, south of Old Road 30.
Upon arrival deputies were directed to the edge of a field, several hundred yards off of the roadway, near a swamp.
Witnesses reported that they were walking in the area and happened upon the unidentified remains.
The coroners's office and crime scene investigators were requested to respond to the location.
The unidentified human remains will be transported to the Northeast Indiana Forensic Center for further examination.
