ELKHART, Ind. -- According to the Elkhart County Sherif's Office, at approximately 11:40 a.m. on Thursday officers were dispatched to C.R. 17 at C.R. 20 for a two-vehicle crash. 

A 2017 Chrysler Pacifica was traveling north bound on C.R. 17 turning west bound onto C.R. 20 and disregarded a lighted signal colliding with a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. 

The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling south bound on C.R. 17 at C.R. 20 when the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica disregarded the lighted signal.

The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled multiple times and came to a rest in the southwest corner of the intersection.

The driver of the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee was transported to South Bend Memorial for a head injury. His injuries are non-life threatening.
