Two South Bend streets closing next week for concrete repair

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend announced two local streets will be closed for concrete repair and reconstruction starting next week.
One closure, on Bellewood Drive from Summit Drive to Westwood Lane, is expected to start on Tuesday, June 11, while the second closure, on Wall Street from Twyckeham Drive to Greenlawn Avenue, is expected to start on Thursday, June 13.
"This work includes replacement of the roadway, curbs, driveway approaches, and some sidewalks," city officials said. "Construction on both streets is expected to be completed by early July, weather permitting."
