Two sentenced for Delivery of a Controlled Substance Causing Death.
Christopher Andre Page BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Two Benton Harbor men have been sentenced to prison in Berrien County after being found guilty of Delivery of a Controlled Substance Causing Death.
The charges stem July 2024 when Benton Township police investigated the fatal drug overdose of a 36-year-old woman at a local motel.
Investigators determined fentanyl was the drug involved.
Michigan's Southwest Enforcement Team detectives then assisted police in a months-long investigation that identified thew suspects as 31-year-old Christopher Andre Page and 40-year-old Louis Ray Spinker.
Page and Spinker were both arrested and charged with of Delivery of a Controlled Substance Causing Death.
In January, Spinker was convicted and sentenced to one year and seven months in prison.
In February, Page was sentenced to 10 and half years to 39 years in prison.
