Michiana farmers will see harvest delays due to flooding
Multiple rounds of severe weather are expected for Michiana this week, starting Wednesday afternoon.
Wednesday's threat will likely be the earlier of the two, with some pop-up storms possible in the afternoon hours, with a more widespread band in the evening.
Most likely threats are damaging winds, with the potential for large hail. Of course, the chance for a tornado cannot be ruled out, especially closer to the lake.
Thursday threat at the moment looks to be contained to the evening and overnight hours, though timing can change as we get closer to the event. Depending on how late the system passes through severity could be decreased, but we should not count on that happening.
All threats are on the table for Thursday's system including damaging winds, heavy rain, hail and tornadoes.
Both events are being watched closely by our weather team, make sure you're staying updated on-air, online and on the ABC57 app.
