Two Michigan groups will virtually host a "New-To-Medicare" class for seniors

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. -- Region IV Area Agency on Aging and the Michigan Medicare and Medicaid Assistance Program will be offering a free and virtual “New-To-Medicare” class in April.

If you will be turning 65 soon and have questions about Medicare, then this class may have some important and noteworthy information for you.

Some of the things you will learn are the difference between original Medicare and Advantage Plans, if you qualify for valuable premium savings programs, the best time to enroll in Medicare healthcare plans, when you can make changes to your coverage and how to protect against Medicare fraud.

The class will be held virtually, hosted by the Area Agency on Aging, Campus for Creative Aging, on April 15, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
