Two injured in crash in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Cass County deputies responded to a single-vehicle injury crash on M-40 South of Bald Hill St. in Newberg Township.

31-year-old Adrian Black, of Three Rivers, and Tara Litteral were driving northbound when Black lost control of his truck and trailer.

He struck a guardrail and went down the hill, rolling end over end.

Black was transported to Bronson Kalamazoo via Aircare and Litteral was taken to Three Rivers ER.

They were both wearing their seatbelts and alcohol/drugs are not considered a factor in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
