Two found dead in home on W. Franklin Street

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Homicide Unit is investigating after a man and woman were found deceased inside a home in the 1300 block of W. Franklin Street Thursday afternoon.

Police responded to the home at 12:15 p.m. and located a man and woman with gunshot wounds. They were both pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police believe the incident is isolated and there is no danger to the public.
