ELKHART, In - The opening round of the sectional playoffs in Indiana have provided some great games over the years, and Friday night was no exception, as Jimtown defeated Tippecanoe Valley 15 to 14, thanks to a missed field goal by the Vikings with less than 30 seconds left. 

This game was a rematch from week six, where Tippecanoe Valley escaped Sharpe Stadium with a two point victory. Friday night, it was the Jimmies exacting some revenge from the previous matchup.

Nash Hamby and Cameron Inbody each ran in a touchdown, and a successful two point conversion by Jimtown proved to be the difference in the game. 

After the game, Jimmies head coach Cody Vincent said “it was like it was the same game, it was eerie, like I told you all week, we made the plays that we needed to, and we made the plays on special teams especially."

Jimtown will take on West Noble in the next round of the sectional playoffs.
