Tree falls on railway wires, South Bend passengers bussed on Wednesday

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Shore Line is reporting a tree has fallen from an adjacent piece of property into their wire, which has caused Weekday Westbound Train # 24 to be impacted.

"Passengers will be bused from South Bend to Carroll Avenue," the SSL said. "We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience."

Officials say as of 1:38 p.m., trains running 10-15 minutes late.
