Light snow and drizzle will continue this evening, with the potential for slick spots on roads overnight and into the morning due to areas of freezing rain in parts of Michiana. High temperatures will drop quickly into the teens by midweek, with subzero wind chills at times. Temperatures are expected to rebound to near-normal levels by the end of the week, with highs reaching the 30s. Lake-effect snow showers are anticipated on Monday, primarily affecting southwestern Michigan counties. Another round of lake-effect snow is expected on Tuesday. As temperatures return to normal, rain chances will also reappear in the forecast. Colder temperatures are likely to return the following week.
