MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka Parks and Rec. Department announced it will host a "Tiki Time Daddy Daughter Dance" at the Battell Community Center on Feb. 21 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Organizers invite the community to grab their grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts and step into a tropical paradise with festive decorations.

There will also be a photo booth with tropical props.

Organizers say dance is open to girls ages 4 to 12, escorted by an adult family member.

Tickets are $45 per couple and $10 for each additional daughter.

You can buy your tickets here.

Organizers added:

"We recognize that families come in many different forms. While these events are named after the traditional events held by community groups for many years, we welcome you to choose which event fits your family."
