UPDATE: Victim in Tuesday's three-vehicle crash identified, investigation ongoing

UPDATE TWO: The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Officer reports 52-year-old William Holmes, of Osceola, was traveling west on Lincolnway when his vehicle drifted across the center lane.

Homes' vehicle then struck two vehicles, driven by a 37-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man both of Mishawaka, traveling east.

Holmes was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The Mishawaka woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and man was uninjured.

All parties remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.

Holmes' autopsy will be performed later in the week.

UPDATE: One person has died from the crash, with another sustaining minor injuries taken to the hospital. 

Lincoln Way remains closed between Peony Street and Boles Avenue as of 8:20 while the investigation continues.

ORIGINAL STORY: OSCEOLA, IN. -- At 6:25 a.m. Tuesday morning, a three-car crash was reported at the intersection of Lincolnway West and Beech Road.

As of 7:00 a.m., the scene is still active, and Lincoln Way West is blocked off at this time.

An ABC57 crew is heading to the scene to learn more about possible injuries and road closures.
