Thousands take part in New Buffalo's Ship and Shore Festival

Thousands of people converged on Whittaker Street in downtown New Buffalo to take part in this weekend’s Ship and Shore Festival.

The three-day festival wrapped up Sunday night. Arts and crafts vendors lined the streets for the annual event. Microbrews were also a featured attraction over the weekend. People at the event told ABC 57 the festival is an event not to be missed.

“You see all your friends. You have a fun time the entire weekend, a lot of good shopping,” festival chairman Migs Murray said.

Festival organizers say nearly 30,000 people attend the festival each year.
