Thousands of Michigan co-eds will no longer get food assistance from the state.
Michigan has booted nearly 30,000 students from the program since they started enforcing federal guidelines.
Officials say for years, Michigan had its own rules, which made nearly all students eligible for EBT or food stamps.
This move is expected to save the state $75 million a year.
