The Penn student club, “Short Hair Because We Care,” hosts hair donation event Saturday

MISHAWAKA, Ind. - Saturday is the second time the Penn student club, “Short Hair Because We Care,” have had this event, which will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Penn High School Cafeteria.

This event was created to benefit the non-profit organization, Children with Hair Loss, which provides hair replacements at no cost to children or young adults facing hair loss.

This event is welcome to everyone and anyone in the community who wants to donate their hair to this worthy cause.

Hair that is colored and permed is accepted and the minimum is eight inches of hair.

Local hair stylists are donating their time to cut participants hair.

Penn’s student club will take care of sending in all the hair donations.

To get to the entrance to the cafeteria, drive behind the high school, park in parking lot between Penn and TCU Freed Field, then enter door F.

Penn High School is at 56100 Bittersweet Rd in Mishawaka.
