SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Hundreds of student athletes at the University of Notre Dame are encouraging young Irish faithful facing their own challenges to "Fight For Life."
The Fight for Life program pairs local kids battling diseases with Notre Dame student athletes. On Tuesday, six kids signed Letters of Intent to officially join their chosen sports team for a full year.
As members of the team, the kids will get to go to games and participate in special events alongside their teammates.
