The Elkhart County Historical Museum to offer guided tours in 2025
ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Historical Museum is set to offer guided tours every first Saturday of the month, starting in 2025.
These tours will offer an in-depth look at what is currently on exhibit, with topics varying month to month.
January will focus on the Native American, British, French, and American influences in this region during the 18th and early 19th centuries.
The program is set to take place in the Museum's Claiming the Land gallery led by Museum Administrator Julie Parke.
“We’re looking forward to the creativity we can put into these Gallery Experiences,” said Parke. “Each month we’ll get a chance to tell some behind-the-scenes stories or highlight a part of Elkhart County history we don’t normally cover. We think our visitors will appreciate the variety we’re bringing our audience through these programs.”
The cost is $5 per person, and it will begin at 1 p.m. on January 4.
No registration is required and children under 12 years old can enter for free.
