MISHAWAKA, Ind -- Thousands are out here on Kamm Island to enjoy the live blues, food, and drinks that the fest has to offer and they’re all doing it for a great cause.
The blues festival brings in thousands of locals to celebrate blues and raise money for some special causes.
Hosted by SDY Promotions and the South Bend Firefighters Association, this is the twenty-third blues festival here on the island—and it’s a fan-favorite for the firefighters.
This year’s blues lineup includes southside Denny, Ivy ford, Howard and the White Boys, and Bernard Allison.
Along with raising money and awareness towards fire safety and burn victims, the fest simply allows local blues-lovers to come enjoy some of the best in the industry.
