PLYMOUTH, Ind. -- The four-day Marshall County Blueberry Festival was anything but blue this year.
The Labor Day weekend festival attracted thousands of attendees, enjoying everything from blueberry flavored foods to the new highlights this year like a drone show.
“Looking forward to next year. The beer garden has been a huge success the last three years, and we added drones this year, which was super fun, so next year hopefully we’ll kind of do some fireworks and drones and make a combination of something, should be a good festival,” said board member and activities director, Jenny Grindle.
She explained the 58th festival was a hit, saying it grows in attendance numbers each year. For her, the festival is all about the people and giving back to the community.
“It was a very successful weekend, we were thrilled. Whenever the weather is great, the festival is great, it brings out the people which is what makes it so special,” said Grindle.
The event will be back next year for the 59th annual Blueberry Festival.
