Teenager injured in shooting in Benton Harbor

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. - Police in Benton Harbor are searching for suspects in a shooting that left a 17-year-old injured.

Officers were called to a hospital early Thursday morning for a report of a gunshot victim.  They found a 17-year-old Benton Harbor resident had been shot four times.  Thankfully, none of those injuries were life-threatening.

According to a press release, the teen told police he was traveling on S. M-139 near Empire Avenue when a white passenger car with four males inside pulled along side him and started shooting.  That car took off in an unknown direction, and the victim drove himself to the hospital.
