Teenager dragged by car while trying to buy PS4

ELKHART, Ind. – A teenager was injured after being dragged by a car while trying to buy a PS4, the Elkhart Police Department reported.

At 5:43 p.m. on Monday, an officer was called to the 1800 block of Park Place for a report of a robbery that happened a few minutes prior.

The 14-year-old victim said that he was trying to buy a PS4 from someone he had been in contact with on Facebook.

The victim said that the suspect pulled up in a black passenger car and when the victim approached the car, the suspect grabbed the $200 in cash from the victim, pushed him down, and began to drive away, according to reports.

The victim held on to the window and was dragged for a short time, skimming both of his knees, reports said.

The victim said he then fell down and hit the back of his head on the street.

No arrests have been made.

This case is still being investigated.
