Suspect pleads guilty to his part in 2023 homicide of 12-year-old

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Court documents from St. Joseph County reveal Nagomba White pled guilty on Aug. 29 to his role in the October 2023 homicide of 12-year-old Josiah Small.
White was one of two men charged with Small's death. The second man, Amarion Cutler, entered a plea agreement on Aug. 8, 2024, but his sentencing date has been moved several times.
Cutler is now set to be sentenced on Sept. 8.
The details of which charge, or charges, White is pleading guilty to are not known at this time.
White's jury trial was supposed to start on Tuesday.
White was apprehended in November 2023 in Indianapolis and was charged with Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Attempted Murder, and Attempted Battery by Means of a Deadly Weapon.
